Yanira + Jose | Casa de España Wedding Event and Planning
I had the distinct pleasure to plan and design a beautiful setting in the most romantic island in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico. Casa de Espana
a historic mansion with such an impeccable influence of Spain was the ideal place for this couple in love to get married. For me it was a canvas to be painted.
Nira and Jose had been dating for a few years and finally decided to tie the knot. I was recommended by a good friend of Jose (the groom) and all three of us hit it off. Being fully Bilingual was a plus to get around this beautiful Island. We all had something in common to have a breathtaking wedding that would be embedded in their memory as well as their family. No detail was overseen from chocolates flown in from California custom made for the couple with their favorite flavors created by Raffine Chocolates
. Spanish wine and Cava Sparkling cider and their spirits complemented the local food from the Island from a local prestigious caterer on the Island.
Linens Fabulous Tiffany blue linens were brought in from Napa Valley Linens
from San Francisco, California.
Hand made Centerpieces by Xochitl
as well as small guava trees which were harvested by Nira’s father from the lands where she grew up in. Nestled in these small trees were Orchid Flowers flown in from Thailand with their wedding colors in mind.
This was all complemented with a Guava and Coconut cake from a Local bakery while the ten piece band played the tunes they danced while they were falling in love. Friends and family gathered to send them off to their new life while sparklers illuminated their future together.
Que el amor esté siempre presente… May the love always be present.
